ESG Operations is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Opelika, AL location. You would be responsible for the overall operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant. We are looking for hands-on candidates with an Alabama class 3 or 4 Wastewater Operator license.

Responsibilities:
- Help define, approve and oversee the functions and objectives wastewater treatment facilities and staff
- Ensure staff is performing duties correctly, including operations, maintenance, safety, lab procedures, scheduling and QA/QC program
- Take effective corrective action in case of emergencies
- Conduct weekly/monthly meetings with Wastewater Manager pertaining to project performance and goal achievement
- Prepare internal reports, regulatory reports, and client reports as defined by the Wastewater Manager.
- Oversee safety program and assure it’s being aggressively followed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years of operations experience in Wastewater Treatment Plants
- Alabama Class 3 or 4 Operator license or ability to receive through reciprocity
- Any combination of education, experience, or training which provides the required knowledge and skills
- Supplemental training or certifications in Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations
